The interesting issue is how one "evangelical" United Methodist pastor is dealing (or not dealing) with a real life family with "two mommies."

Me too. I've had quite a browse of your blog, Steven. It is an interesting window to me on a struggle for acceptance within the UMC. Thanks for pointing me to it.

I added your blog to my "favorites" as well. I've enjoyed reading what I've been able to so far -- very informative and a welcome relief to what I hear coming from some United Methodists. I can't agree with the idea of "anticipatory membership" either -- seems to defeat the purpose of being a member at all, while continuing painful division within the church.

I look forward to reading more. :)
