My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
There are small windows of time when I am healthy enough between chemo treatments in order to share with you online. Tomorrow begins yet another series of treatments. Unfortunately, a low white or red blood cell count does not inhibit another cycle, since they must aggressively treat the cancer without abatement.
Please know that I exercise economy of time and effort when I feel this invigorated, and I have spent nearly all of my abbreviated time on line with this part of the Body of Christ and other wonderful folks who follow their own belief systems.
Of course, I am always interested in feedback, but confess that I tend to read all posts here, and then, for inspiration, listen to the videos of Jeff Lutes and Mel White.
If only they knew how much hope and inspiration that these videos have meant to me and my spouse and our son........tears are welling in my eyes at this moment.
I will be reading intermittingly throughout the day - and spend the rest of my quality time with my family this evening. We will hug, play and pray and awaken to face tomorrow's challenge with courage and faith in the will of the Almighty.

Your presence here is a blessing, and I am continually enlightened by your posts. Come when you are able, and share when you can. I'm glad this can be a place of inspiration for you.
Many blessings....

Liberal Crozier,
I want you to know the profound impact your words are having in my life. I find myself reading your posts over and over. Your wisdom, insight, & experience are incredible.
We (I) have very few people we can look up to as mentors in ministry who are gay or lesbian. Actually, let me restate that because I have some wonderful mentors in my life... my pastors, other leaders, people here like DanielNYC... but I have only one mentor who shares with me regularly on the level that I sense you are sharing from.
I'm 28 and beginning to seriously wrestle with God's call on my life. Your writing is feeding my spirit.
I'm praying for your health & peace. I'm praying for your family.
Please write as much as you are able, your words minister to many.
Much love & gratitude,
Nathan

The title of your thread is beautifully put, and I feel blessed and honored in some way that the small stained glass window that you possess of feeling somewhat well is spent, in part, with us. Your words always stir deep feelings and even deeper thought in me after I read them, and I too, have read them over a few times to fully embrace your ideas. It takes courage to be who you are, here with us, and also to face this illness and maintain your generous spirit. You are among friends here. Fully soak up the love of your beautiful family and always find your way here when you are able. My prayers are with you and yours- Vanessa
