I totally screwed "threading" up in school...so, I hope I'm doing it right on here. Anyways, my names' Matt. Live in a small town just south of Pittsburgh. Am originally from Morgantown, WV. (And really miss it, btw).

Followed the equality ride coverage, religiously...which is how I found out about this site and the community forums. But, until now, never posted anything. Shy I guess.

I found it really interesting how so many schools, on the equality rides' tour, were so unwelcoming to the idea of gay students, etc. Having been born and raised in Morgantown, (home of WVU, for those that don't know) I never really had problems with being gay. Morgantown is like the gay mecca of WV, which is probably because of the university.

But, anyways...hope to meet some new friends here.

Hey guys,

Thanx for the great responses and intro's. I'm just getting home from work and probably not in the greatest of moods, right now. Just been a long day dealing with whining patients and their families.

I know I probably sound like an uncaring nurse, and nothing could be further from the truth....it's just that when you deal with ungrateful ppl all day long, you tend to develop a bad "taste" in ur mouth for patients, etc.

Anyways, sorry to be a little moody today, but wanted to thank everyone for the great welcome. Chat soon
