Hello everyone!

I had noticed on CNN this morning what I thought was a bumper sticker but now that I think about it, I believe it was maybe a billboard. It said something like:

"You probably know or are related to someone who is gay, remember them in November."

If this is a bumper sticker does anyone know where to get it? I tried the Human Rights Campaign site as well as "Cafepress".

I think it is great on a billboard, bumper sticker or whatever.

It is certainly a super message!!!

Awesome goin' Nate!!!

Once we clear the boxes out of the garage so I don't have to park in the driveway, I will want a bumper sticker like that.

Not right now tho - a neighbor a few blocks away put a sticker like that on his car and all hell broke loose with the neighbors and all kinds of vandalism ensued. . .

Thanks Nathan!

You are awesome!

I was thinking, (dangerous) I hope the bumper sticker isn't taken the wrong way.

I mean, Dobson knows someone who is Gay and I'm sure he will remember them in November!

Maybe it should say: "someone you love" just a thought. Wouldn't want it to fall into the hands of the enemy:eek:

Omigosh Spring!!! You're so right - that could totally happen!

It should read someone you "love" I agree.

Anecdote: For a continuous year I wore a button every day that read: "Against gay marriage? Don't marry one" It was very small, and the color background on the button made one or the other of the 2 phrases pop out or fade according to the light in the room. I was constantly asked what the button said, and often asked which "side" I was on. It was a terrific way to start conversations about the marriage amendment my state is about to vote on. But sometimes I was unnerved because one gay colleague in particular, even tho he has received emails from me updating him on my activist activities, kept nervously asking,

"Wait a minute - you're against gay marriage? So - are you against me? No, you're not, are you? It really looks like you're against gay marriage. But, wait, no, I remember, I know you're not. Or are you?"

Most people DID "get it" however. ;) But on a bumper sticker, there is no face to face interaction where you get to explain to the driver behind you what your sticker means. :p
