The writing on the missing report was too small for me to read, Evelyn. But I am hoping that you find him soon.

Would the docter not tell you anything.. or do you think he might be open to anwsering questions... like... who did they contact after the accident? do they have names of any other family or friends... because that could help a lot...

The doctor said to me, that he can't give me some information about the case of my dad. he said the laws in the States are very strong. But why can't he give informations to me? I'm the daughter.I have send him my passport and the copy of the familybook. In Germany you can get information when you give your passport or familybook information.
And he can't send me the open invoice (there is a invoice open, $30) - I don't understand this.

Evelyn,
I suppose the American Embassy can't really help you with this (half statement/half question)? Do you have your birth certificate showing he is your father? Perhaps the doctor can forward a letter to your father from you?
Ok, this might be good for some laughs, but some talk shows in the US supposedly help people find missing loved ones. Maybe someone has contact information for you? I can do some searching, but can't really recal who would do those types of shows?

That's a good point... what about you birth certificate what does it show he's your father?
I know it's annoying we have some really weird laws..

He is my father. The birth-certificate shows it and i have living the first 10 years with him, my mum and my brother. I know who my father is. I'm only not knowing where he is. He left my family there i was 10 years old.
This TV-Shows are in Germany too. I have get in contact with some of them, but they say they can't help me. The Embassy can't help me too (why, i don't know). The Doctor: he said he can't help me to find out where my Dad is. Maybe, when he see him, he can say that I'm searching for him. But he said, he don't know when my Dad comes the next time to him.
