Seeking two new moderators
 

If you would like to be on the forum moderator team, please send me a private message.

Responsibilities include:

• Moving spam posts (80% of the job.)
• Moving posts which otherwise break the guidelines.
• Assisting with general forum questions (how do I include an image in my post, I'm having trouble getting my avatar uploaded, etc.)

And here are the requirements:

• Need to visit the forums regularly while serving as moderator.
• Need to have attended one Soulforce action or be a member with 100 or more posts.
• Need to be comfortable using the forum controls (i.e. you never have [quote][/quote] tags left in your posts and wondering why that is. ;) )
• Need to be 16 years or older.

That's it! I know several of you would make fabulous moderators, but I am looking to just add two volunteers at the current level of expansion.

I am pleased to announce (belated) that keltic63 has joined the moderator team. There is still one opening that I would like to fill. Send me a private message if you would like to be considered. Also, asking another forum member (or two) to recommend you would be helpful.

I want to announce our newest moderator, NathanATX.

With two additional members now serving to keep the forums fun and in good order, I think we are good to go into the next season.

I should also take this time to reiterate that which makes these forums work -- the folks who share their news and insight, respond to others with brilliant commentary, listen to the stories of people who have recently experienced something unpleasant in their lives, or encourage those who are just coming out of the closet. There were some really good threads from the first year!

So I am happy to now have the moderator team of keltic63 and NathanATX. I'm also thankful for the time and energy many of you contribute here. The forum family has become a real asset to Soulforce.
