I'm looking forward to this 2-day conference about the practice of reconciliation and the theologies that demand it, and thought you all should know about it!

I deeply respect the work of Sr. Helen Prejean work (remember Dead Man Walking? That's her.) and am also really looking forward to hearing James Alison speak. You probably know that he wrote Faith Beyond Resentment: Fragments Catholic and Gay, but he alsowrote a measured hopeful response to the Vatican's Instruction on homosexuality and seminary postulants.

Anyway, I'll be there (helping facilitate reflection sessions) and hope some of you will join us in San Franisco.
