Hello From Milwaukee!
 

Hello everybody, this is Alisa from Milwaukee, WI. I'll be participating in the ride next spring and just thought I'd introduce myself and say a little about me. I'm a 22 year old dyke earning my BA in Women's Studies, minoring in English and LGBT Studies. Essentially I would love to work for a non-profit. Till then, I'm raising hell here in Milwaukee on campus and in my community through a number of various organizations and grassroots activism. In my spare time I'm a painter who enjoys creating very bold, controversial art pieces. I'm a capricorn who enjoys long walks on the beach and... haha, just kidding. okay yeah, i'm a dork.

A random fact for you - your name, Ailsa, as far as I know is taken from a place near where I live - Ailsa Craig, an uninhabited volcanic island which marks the halfway point as you sail from Glasgow to Belfast.

unfortunately no, i don't have any of my work online although our collective at the artist building i live in is starting to move in that direction so perhaps it won't be long now! and very interesting random fact about the name! sounds like a gorgeous place :)
