American Family Association at it again

I'm hoping that this will prove to the rest of the world that the religious right is crazy and stupid. Though truth be told, I have no problem with them stoning the orca, as long as the AFA does it themselves, from the tank. Stay tuned for www.godhateswhales.com. |
Orca are dangerous wild animals. In the wild, they are top predators that hunt co-operatively like wolves. this particular orca probably wouldn't survive if they released it to the wild. It might not be able to learn to hunt. Or the other whales might gang up on it and kill it. Dolphins sometimes gang up on others and kill them by beaching them. It might be kinder to put the thing down. But then, what would you do with the body? Donate it as meat for tigers at a predator sanctuary maybe. that's what we did with our favorite boar when he got too old and sick and had to be put down.
I hope they didn't mean "stoning" literally. How is that supposed to work? Wouldn't the rocks just sink? Wouldn't they just bounce off and tick the whale off? And do these people use ANYTHING in the news to further their own agenda? what a bunch of weirdos. |
Their stupidity never seems to cease to amaze me.

Oh my, these people... Taking Biblical literalism to another level.

Guess what people. Wild animals are... wild. They will sometimes attack without visible warning. Even professional handlers get attacked sometimes. It doesn't make the animal evil. It just isn't domesticated like an ox.
Isn't stoning the preferred method of execution for things or people you don't like? They could use golf balls for the stoning as an homage to the Seinfeld episode when Kramer was driving golf balls into the ocean.:lol: |
