Our weekend started today. It's our third anniversary. Yaaaayyyy (11:15 here, so still the 24th in Pacific time zone, for the rest o ya, it was yesterday.)

Tomorrow we are driving to New Mexico to hang out at the Carlsbad Caverns and see the bats. Yay. We'll get back late Monday - not sure how much I'll be online between tomorrow afternoon and Tuesday.

My weekend will be interesting, although I have yet to know what it will entail. My daughter and my now sort of ex partner have plans most of the weekend with her family. At first, I felt a little panic-stricken at what that meant for me, and what I would do. Our daughter has to continue in what her usual holiday routine has been, which means my routine has to change. I guess this is where the Chinese character for "crisis" and "opportunity" would apply, because I am starting something new this year, just not sure yet what that "new" looks like.

I babysat for a new family (they're wonderful, such an adorable little girl!).

I'm also dogsitting for a friend.

Tonight, my Lovey and I will have a movie night and watch Look Who's Talking (because she's never seen it, but we were listening to Janice Joplin and her song called "Cry Baby" is in the movie SO...). We're also going to watch Transamerica!! YAY!
