How a brainless blowbag like O' Reilly got to be on national television, and receive such a large following, I'll never understand. Besides having the intellectual depth of a bedsore, he is a hatemonger. And the spreading of hate is not what this country needs at this time.

By demeaning and disparaging various minorities. They appeal to people's feelings of insecurities, by playing on the fiction that there is always someone out there lower than you are.

If nothing else, you can always kick the dog.

I used to listen to Rush, call him names, and write him nasty letters, but I soon tired of that. I suggest you do the same.

How is a clearly defined adversary not a good thing? I also know what makes me lose my appetite.

It seems that GLAAD is on some LGBTQ people's fecal roster. Does anyone know why?

I know some people take umbridge with the handing out of awards to straight people every year (often for things that really ought to be status quo). There was something else, and it was kinda big but I cannot for the life of me remember what. I think it had something to do with some of the "gray area" things: the organization pretty much exists to point out the offensive things and let everyone know about them and release statements to that effect (they do likewise with the positive things, I'd be remiss not to mention). I think somewhere along the way there were a few things that some found offensive that GLAAD did not, and vice versa that led to a realization that it's a little bit silly to have an organization speaking for all of us particularly on the more gray area cases.

Although I'm an engineer I still work in the media. How about a little feedback on how we're doing? Do any of the stories here have anything to do with your lives?

Most of these stories are reported during the normal course of a broadcast day and added to an LGBTQ-centric location later. They actually appear in more than one place on the .com site depending on category.
