Another anti-gay pastor of a Mega-church is being accused of having gay sex. This is becoming so commonplace it's no longer big news.

Even the description of how Long devised a rationale strikes a chord with me having gone to a Pentecostal school. The denial and the homophobia is great, while, at the same time, the acting out is done with great deliberateness. Smoke and mirrors in full force.

But the lies always come out. That seems to be what happens.

Here's what Bishop Long said about homosexuality:

"And if they don't change they're going straight to hell. Homosexuality and lesbianism are spiritual abortions. Homosexuality is a manifestation of the fallen man."

So imagine the self-hate and indignity that Bishop Long must be feeling now after two men claim he gave them blow jobs. His 25,000 member anti-gay megachurch has become another victim of ignorance and gullibility as Christianity again gets dragged through the mud of hypocrisy.

All the millions of dollars spent on that enormous church building could have fed a lot of starving kids. When will the foolish ever learn?

Speaking of anti-gay pastors of megachurches; does anyone else get a gay vibe from Joel Osteen? I know that he has a wife and children but that could just be because he is suppressing his orientation. OTOH I could be way off base. There's just something about him that says gay to me.

Yes. My gaydar says Joel Osteen might be gay.

Is getting a lot of mileage out of his looks, isn't he? It concerns me less that he might be a gay man than his stance regarding gay people which is nothing less than bigotry with a smile.

This recurring motif of the anti-gay gay pastor is just sad. They are so afraid to be themselves due to their indoctrination that they basically become schizophrenic--verbally and spiritually brutalizing their fellow LGBT's in one breath, and... well, getting on their knees (but not in prayer) in another breath. They are what they hate, and they hate what they are. And it's damn sad.

plastic smile. it's quite disturbing actually...that and his eye blinking tick......

Don't forget that not only do they hate what they are while being what they hate, but they also make a ton of money while doing so. hypocrisy.
