'Splain it to me Lucy': Phelps' at E. Edwards Funeral?
 

Perhaps I'm missing something. As Ricky Ricardo would ask wife Lucy (Lucille Ball (1911-1989), someone reading here please "splain it to me..." why in heaven's name the Phelp's are, or already have (?), showing up at the funeral of Elizabeth Edwards?

Why, this go around, according to Phelps family rhetoric, does "God hate Elizabeth Edwards"? US (D) Senator John Edwards, also presidential candidate, has admitted to parenting a child in his course of adultery. Mr. Edwards has apparently owned up to his misconduct as well as his responsibilities to his child born out of the adultery; also owning his misconduct in public and allegedly with his wife and family.

Please tell me why the Phelps family of lawyers (whose protest lines are stacked with exploited children in order to look larger) is or has taken their typical harsh and obnoxious stanch, only this time, against a woman, who seems from all I know about her, is not only a victim who's died of breast cancer, but who was also a publicly brave and humble survivor of her husband's adultery?

What'd she do to damn her soul according to Phelps family rhetoric? (Sick, twisted & horribly skewed propaganda as it probably is).

I don't think most of the Phelpses believe what they're screaming. I think it's one part performance art and like 1000 parts trying to make a buck. One way they do the latter is by pissing people off enough that they'll do something they can be sued for. To that end, the nicer, kinder, and better a woman Mrs. Edwards was, the better a target she makes.

I picketed against the WBC in Sioux Falls, South Dakota last month. There's no logic behind anything they do. For instance, you tell me how the "American acceptance of homosexuality" causes God to "kill" soldiers... They're insane, and they will do anything to get attention.
