I am a former conservative Christian. I found this site by reading the book "Religion Gone Bad." While I am straight, this website seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I have been on the other side. Now looking at things from this side I can see how hurtful religion can be to the LGBT community. I also fear that it can be dangerous. I would really love to take the knowledge I have of how the minds of the conservative Christians work and use it to help fight for the civil rights of the LGBT community. I would also like to take the opportunity to say I am truly sorry and ashamed of the person I used to be.

I read "Religion Gone Bad'. I couldn't put it down. I'm happy that you found the site.
