Hello everyone! My name is Mercedes and I'm 20 years old. Ever since I came out to my mom earlier this year I've been searching for a Christian community where I could be open about myself and the fact that I'm a lesbian. Well I think I've finally found it. I feel that just because I'm gay doesn't mean that i have to give up my beliefs. It shouldn't be one way or the other, though there are plenty of people on both sides that will disagree.

I hope to get along well with all of you and I'm really thankful that I found this forum. I look forward to talking to all of you. =)

Also, if there's anything you want to know about me, just have at it.
