I only watched the first 30 minutes of the two-hour premiere episode of
The Book of Daniel. With all the press surrounding the show, I suddenly felt like we were sending a losing team to the big game. I wasn't impressed, but then again, I'm a pretty big critic of movies and tv.
Anyhow, I would like nothing better than to expose the American Family Association for what they truly are -- a fundamentalist organization whose heart's desire is to mold the United States into a neo-conservative theocrazy (misspelling intentional) where gays are driven back into closets, progressive values like inclusion and equality and kept from being realized, and the teachings of radical prophets like Jesus and Dr. King remain behind stained-glass windows of the few churches that do hear and understand.
