Hi learner!
Those who have been active with Soulforce for a while know about the
Soulforce Credo About My Adversary. We've had to read it outloud before going up against major anti-gay leaders. Well, one of the interesting statements on that Credo is the statement which reads, "I believe that my adversary may have an insight into truth that I do not have."
Your introduction made me think back to that. We should all see ourselves as learners searching for new truth while standing up for the truth that we have now.
You've given me a good idea for a new thread in the Main Forum. When presented with two or more opposing arguments, each of which is being put forth as "truth" by the individual or group, what do you rely on to make a sound judgement?
