I have been reading the literal and historical view of the interpretation of the scripture and the discussion has been quite interesting but I beleive that one important aspect has been left out. Being a member of UCC I certainly adopt the historical view of this discussion and remain open to the moving of the Holy Spirit in pointing out so many wonderful things which make the word of God such a wonderful book. yes! and I found that scripture while I was looking for something else about interpretation and "clever" words and wisdom and foolishess. I may not have found exactly what I was looking for, but I did find what I needed to know.
