This measure that will outlaw workplace discrimination is what we've been waiting for since Stonewall. If passed, it will mean that companies cannot discriminate based solely on sexual orientation. Eventually more gay people will feel comfortable to be open at work.
The greater the number of openly gay folks, the less the number of people who continue to believe the stereotypes about us that has resulted in so much fear and prejudice.
The chance that this measure will pass is very good news for our community.
