Finally catching up here with my belated response ... I met Vanessa's co-author Virginia Mollenkott many years ago, and she's great too ... how nice that you've connected with Vanessa ... I don't know her but I appreciate your comments here ... and also your comments about Helen Boyd's book too.

I have been encouraged by more and better information finally getting out to the world on trans issues ... the media in general is finally doing a better job. Hopefully the trend toward better communication and understanding among all members of the LGBT community, and allies, will continue too! : )

That the media will improve their understading of LGBT issues, and trans issues in particular, is one goal I pray will be accomplished. I believe this year has been better for trans people. I have accomplished some of the goals that I set at the beginning of the year. I am setting some new goals now.
