NO, unfortunately it is dead serious. O'Reily is a hyper-conservative, shock-jock type interviewer. He plays fast and loose with the truth because he knows that as long as he doesn't libel anyone, no one is going to stop him. People DO challenge his crap. he either ignores it or retracts it and then moves on to his next lie. Its an ugly business, but its what the neo cons and the religious right do best.
