Thank You! Your words are very comforting... his memorial for the church and school community is tomorrow night. My family will be there, as well as all our friends from the school.
I keep feeling like I'm being hit with it... it'll sneak up on me and I'll realize that I miss him more then I thought I did. Even though I know it was his time.

Grief is like that, Jenn. You can't stay in that intense place all the time so your brain takes you away from it. Then the reality suddenly snaps you back to it.
this is especially true for young children. Watch them at a funeral or a calling. They can be crying one minute and off playing with cousins and yucking it up the next. Even if its someone really important like a parent or grandparent. Its just how we grieve.
