Shirley Phelps Roper is a puppet trained by her vitriolic father to spew hatred, violence, and stupidity upon the people with which she comes in contact. Hate is addictive, because it intimidates and makes the hater feel power. That is all she is. I have no respect for her or anything for which she stands. I hope Obama or Hillary take office, legalize at least civil unions for gay people, and I hope she and her clan are so outraged and sickened that they move to some homophobic nation that will accept their ideology.
You are right about the part that she and her clan make homophobia look stupid and hateful, but still....I wish she would just be herself and not her father's puppet. Just another example of a little girl who desperately wants her father's approval and will stoop to such measures to get it.
