He married to a woman how had to have a hysterectomy. She has grown children from a first marriage. She obviously could not carry so instead of finding a carrier/surrogate and the expenses of this, he decided to stop his tetosterone and carry for the couple. Of course, the right wing conservatives are already calling them and the baby 'monsters' , they had docotrs and fertility experts condemn them. It was hard for them to find someone an OBGYN to help them and to purchase sperm from a bank, who also refused.
I happen to feel this is the ultimate unselfish act of love to carry a child even though you have finally become who you are suppost to be. This family has my full support.

I find it sickening that anyone could criticize ANYONE for being kind enough to carry a child, let alone for someone else. It truly is the most unselfish act in the world. They have my love and full support too.
