I have lived in Minneapolis for most of my life. I wish that I had known you, when things were hitting bottom for you. I have been involved with GLBT, and trans people for most of my life. I am sure that I could have put you in touch with resources of some kind.
Minneapolis is now a relatively trans friendly place, much better than it was years ago. And of course, PHS has many resources, but they have always been such an up tight place. I've heard that Sharon was usually a good person, but she was operating under a lot of constraints, and other people's hang ups. I guess that now Bockting is the head guy, and he's a real pain in the butt.
They have an educator there who teaches all about identity, orientation, genetic and embryonic stuff, and many things about sexuality that I can't put a label on. His name is Simon something, (Rosseter?)and he is a really good person to talk to. He is a gay man in a relationship, and they are raising some kids.
I believe that I mentioned my church is such a wonderful place, Check it out:
I've got a household mini-emergency here, Get back to you soon
