I'd devote as much energy (funding) as possible into finding and perfecting renewable energy sources. I would start by legalizing hemp so that it’s hundreds if not infinite uses could be utilized, then solar, wind, running water, etc.
The ripple effect of products and services related to these industries would jump start and sustain a renewable energy economy base, thereby regaining our status as a respected superpower, free of being seen as oil mongers.
Then I'd force
everyone else to be free and happy like us by offering to exchange kowledge with them. Especially of how to be economically free, and do it grass roots up so that it takes (assuming the roots
do want it).
The idea of Free Fall Energy. So much of enough, not even money can contain it.
