Oh Doc,
I am so sorry for your loss and I am quite sure that after 42 years together that you had a lifetime of memories to carry with you. I know John hears you, and is there for you in times of your humanness. You are lucky to have had him for so long. It is a testament to the fact that gays and lesbians need and deserve the right to be married, because it isn't just a piece of paper it is a lifetime of commitment. Much love to you.
