The black community needs to come out of denial that there are no GLBT folks in the pews, businesses, and families. These things need to be discussed openly.
We have a large enough gay poplulation here in Atlanta to support the success of two festivals, Stonewall Weekend and Labor Day (Black Pride). I usually participate in both.
