Default Does your boss screw up often?

I have 2 bosses (principals, since I work in schools) I noticed that in the past week they've made several blunders. I am to be observed once a year, by either principal. It never happened, although one did say she would do it a few months ago. I feel that if I remind them, it's like saying "hey! do your job!" I think it's an insult, and so I don't say anything about it. I finally went to the principal who said she would do the observation and suggested that she have me sign the form and date it for the day of my chorus program (evidence that I'm doing my job.)

this same principal announced some staff changes today at an all-school assembly. However, 3 of those changes are not definite, because like me, those 3 teachers are furloughed and subject to reassignment anywhere in the school district. Officially, I don't have a job, and neither do these teachers. If they're saying they know their assignment already, then the rest of us who are furloughed (laid off) are entitled (by contract) to have that information as well.

we use an internet-based grading system. I was entering grades yesterday and found that the system was locked. we had been told that the system would be open for entering grades until 11pm last night. my other principal decided to lock it down at 11am. I had to call and beg for another half hour to complete my grades.

They're not earth-shattering problems, but they are preventable.

ok. /rant

how about your boss? (Jamie, you're exempt from answering this one!)
