Angry What will they think of next...

Why practice any form of medicine, if you cannot put aside you religious views for the sake of the patients' needs? The point of pychiatry is to 1 come to the case without judgement or bias so that you can make clear desicions for the patients wellbeing, even if that means that have to refer someone better suited to said needs.

If you are uncomfortable with a persons sexuality and do not want to deal with it, you could for the sake of that person, send them to someone who has expericene in handeling the GLBT community. But why one would need the right to flat out refuse any kind of conseltation or assesment?

If you are a doctor, you have promised to do no harm, and this harm can be something simple as turning away someone in need.

I don't know much about the bible, but is't there something about leaving a stranger at the gate? Those in "morally superior" glass house should throw stones.
