Nate,
I have known Marsha and Cindy for several years. I appreciate their ministry and I have heard Marsha speak of the events.
I have friends who have seen the video of the night in question although I have to admit that I have not.
I have seen the picture and I believe that Bill is pandering to the fundamentalists out there in an effort not to stir them up.
I believe that he "sold out"and did not stand up for what he originally thought was right.
I believe that prayers are needed for Cindy and Marsha because they are bound to feel pain from the rejection they recieved from someone they considered to be a freind.
I also believe that prayers are needed for Bill, because he knows that what he said was wrong and he is not standing up for his principals. This is not a very Christian action on his part.
On my blog, (
http://www.gaydeacon.blogspot.com) I suggested that maybe we should send him the ashes of his cd's and the sheet music of his songs as Marsha once recieved when she "came out" as the person that God made her.
