Inspired by God, yes, but written by man. And even if the original writers were blessed with inerrancy, the fact that the original text had, for centuries, been copied by hand by one scribe and language to another, means that the chance some of the text would be a wee bit different than what was originally intended.
Sorta like a game of pass the message. Even now, some people are putting words in the Bible that weren't originally there. So while I do believe in God 100%, I tend to keep a secular mind frame open when reading the Bible.
