The CNN documentary annoyed me, just another story in chronlogical order >> the guy always feeling female, then transition and all of the loss and rejection and the last little snippet of program winding up showing a little success. <<

This is NOT what is needed. We need programs that show transsexuals successes, them accepted by their communities and those around them, that is the message that needs to be sent to the masses, not that all these people rejected them, but that they are accepted and successful, productive people in society. If they had shown Susan in her current environment as the City administrator of Lake Worth, interacting on real levels with people around her, her family, and only touched enough on her background to let people know the T then that would have been a good show!

A lot of transsexuals like myself, live everyday in society like a lot of other people, successful, and the T is not the number one factor, or even brought up in our lives. I hold a high level, visable position with the City of New York. I know a lot of other Trans people have similar positions, like Susan. Dwell on that!, not the sensational BS 'was a man / now a woman' crap that pervades so much of the media.
