Need A Meeting
Cathy, I don't know if this will help but I believe a meeting with the congregation that you want to worship in may be in order. Many people in church really know little or nothing about LGBT expect what others tell them (mostly incorrect). It could break the ice. Be prepared to answer questions because there will be some. Share with them your experiences and your desire to be an active participant in the church.
