A hearty welcome to you, Helen. I graduated from a Christian college in 2008. Though my theology is conservative, I am appalled by some Christians who demean LGBT people. You correctly point out that many young people reject the bible and Christianity because of the actions of some so-called Christians.

I'm a transgender individual who encourages others that God loves them as they are.
