let's hope the ultra conservative right wing gets a chance to have a look at that.

It's great news. Squaring that finding off against what we know about prejudice and social exclusion literature (e.g. detrimental to mental health and self-esteem) would also be another really good 'next part' of the research puzzle to have a look at.

I have encountered resistance to same-sex parenting in many ways, including 'but it's selfish for what it exposes kids to at school'. Never mind about the failure to scrutinise prejudicial views from the school-context, in that 'blame the homosexual' abuse myth!!

Thus, it's just great that some evidence-based literature has come out like that. I wonder what the male-male equivalent research says.
