I didn't mean above my pay grade like I had no right to ask questions. I meant above my pay grade like I don't have to.(-: Some people get all het up(no pun intended) about things like when the rapture will be or if the tribulation is re or post millenial or whether there was a literal virgin birth or not. To me stuff like that isn't that important. I just try to think about what I'm supposed to do to be a good christian. things like not get so mad at people or to be thankful for what i have.
When I was a sailor I was in the deck department. If I went into the engine room I wouldn't have a clue as to how anything worked in there. I just painted my alloted bulkheads and figured everything else was not my department.
That's kind of how I think of deep theological debate. Some things are not my department.
