Leviticus 18:22
I am the author of the book, Leviticus Revealed, which was published this past year and is available everywhere. "Out In Jersey" magazine gave it a five star review, and the reviewer said that it really set him free from years of "religious" bondage. I just wanted to ask everyone's help in getting the word out about this book, because it represents more than thirty years of scholarly research, and the book uses verifiable and irrefutable fact to prove that the Bible does NOT condemn homosexuality. I especially wrote this book, because I was tired of other books starting to address the ultimate question, but ending up with a lot of suppositions. There is an answer to the question of what Leviticus 18:22 really says, and it does not say that "man shall not lie with man." It does not condemn homosexuality. To put it very briefly, this verse is referring to the temple worship of Molech and the male prostitutes who offered their services during the temple rituals. It admonishes the Israelites that they no longer engage in this practice, because the new temple that was being built was going to separate Israelites from those around them, primarily Canaanites. It warns that engaging in this activity will make a man "toevah," ritually impure, and unclean for entry into the new temple for worship. For greater detail, please read my book.
I am currently finishing the sequel which takes on Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as all the New Testament passages that "seem" to condemn homosexuality. I can assure you that Paul never condemns homosexuals. He, like the writers of Leviticus, condemns temple prostitutes and the cult religions. This book will be larger than Leviticus Revealed, because there is so much material that has to be presented in order to conclude the statement of facts, but all in all, both books will show that the Bible never condemns homosexual relationships. I hope you will read the book, and help get the word out. We really need to end this unfounded prejudice. It has gone on long enough, and has harmed far too many people. Thank you,
Brian Gray, Author, Leviticus Revealed
