I had to begin to learn to love ~Me~ for ~Me~, First, when No one else could, or would, before understanding what Love really Is.

It's not a mystical force or feeling that just "happens" to those who are "Lucky"... it's an Act of Will. You Choose to Love, Regardless of how you "feel"... Practice makes perfect, Fake it till you make it.

I treat it similarly as with other Fears. I've often, in the past, been "afraid" to do the right thing, for fear of making people angry, and hurt me, for it... but when I started Choosing to do the right thing, Regardless of the fear I "felt"... I Also started learning how to Choose to Love, to Treat others as if I "felt love", to my intellectual understanding, even when it "feels" uncomfortable (ie: doing what Jesus Said to do)

And I'm still learning =)

Stop worrying that you "might never find love"... Those are Lies taught to us, often when young, and are a form of "abuse"... "I'll never" feel better, "I can't" do it alone... when you Can!

How often have you heard the idea of "negative tapes" and to "stop listening" to them, the "voices" in your head that say you can't, or that you hurt too much, etc, etc...?

How many songs keep telling you what you need to do, for you... like the one you quote =)

Because it's True. The words in that song, are the words God would sing to you, if you could hear Him, because that's how ~He~ sees you, in the perfect design and ways He made for us. God doesn't make mistakes. All you have to do, is start to believe it, and practice it, and eventually, you'll ~know~ it to be true.
