I wouldn't give symbols as a present. I mean every person chooses his own symbol and if I was gay I wouldn't like to be labeled by others. I personally prefer neutral but beautiful things like
a Rolex Milgauss or just a simple bracelet as a present, which can be supplemented or decorated by the beneficiary.
