I was just listening to this in the car this morning and was reminded of the nice imagery and not-so-subtle Christian references that are peppered throughout a very contemporary yet uplifting song.

I don't know, that song just hits me in the gut with her addition. I used to say it like, the song is so beautiful that it glamorizes whatever you're doing — no matter how ugly. In an instant, all becomes pitch perfection. The reminder of that moment when we realize that we would do it all 1000 times over, in an instant, just - to - be - that.

Whatever "that" is of course. But for a little while, she's it.

I like the song but I can't say I vouch for the video.

I almost feel like it's newsworthy though. The idea that everything should be free, especially from those who profess to have 'access' to God.

I had just heard the song on the radio and the DJ "suggested" that I go to the Switchfoot website "if" I was curious about the video...Right after that, the "James Dobson minute" came on. Needless to say, I nearly lost my shoes.

That's when I decided to go to the switchfoot website to see the video . And as advertised on-my-Christian-radio-station, it was there. FOR FREE!

"For Free" = Freedom. This gesture symbolizes the way it always should be.
