Default English Standard Version???

Hey folks, I was at Barnes & Noble today and saw a bible I really liked: Thinline Trutone Bible, with a Celtic (Keltic!!!!) cross on the front. It was the English Standard Version. I'm not familiar with this version. Anyone have experience with it? how does it stand up to the original? I've been using the Revised Standard Version for the past 20 years. (wow, has it been that long?)

English Standard Version

Here is some good info regarding the ESV. I collect English translations of the Bible, and this is a great translation. It happens to be my mother's favorite!

Default Corey,

I agree with your mother, with abject apologies for the version commissioned by the gay regal. In some Anglican Communions, the Apocrypha is canonical.
