A judge ruled the names of signers to prop 71 (taking away many rights for us in Washington State) are public record. These people are saying they fear threats for signing and the group trying to get this prop on the November ballot in Washington State are trying to block public disclosure. The bad news is they say they have enough signatures to place prop 71 on the ballot. I am voting no and I hope my sisters, brothers, and straight but not narrow friends will vote it down.

We don't want Prop 71 on the ballot because it is a referendom on domestic partnership that already exists. But if it stays on the ballot we want to vote in favor of domestic partnership rights. So vote YES though we dont like having to vote at all on this. Dont let them confuse you!

Sounds like clarity is needed. I haven't done the research on it. There was some confusion in CA over Prop 8. Quite a few folks voted yes thinking it would allow same gender couples to marry. It was actually the measure that stopped same gender couples from being able to marry.
Be sure to read it clearly BEFORE voting either way.
