Default Queer Affirmative Study

Hello Soulforce community,

My name is Eva Woodward and I am a psychology doctoral student at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. I'm so glad to learn about your organization's peaceful and important work. I am conducting a queer-affirmative research study about society’s views about sexual orientation. I want to ensure that many sexual minority people have their voices heard in this research, and am requesting your participation. I was forwarded to post here by a Soulforce administrator. Please see the official recruitment blurb below with the link to the online study embedded in it. You identity is unknown when you complete the study, and I'd like to be able to inform anyone who participates about the results from the study. So, you can click the link below to participate, but if you'd also like to receive overall results when they are available, email me you email address (that I will keep in my confidential records) at enwoodward@suffolk.edu, and I'd be glad to stay in touch. Keep in mind that results may not be available until over a year from now as the research process is so lengthy.

Thank you,

Eva Woodward, B.S.

Hello!

My name is Eva Woodward and I am a psychology doctoral student at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. I am conducting a queer-affirmative research study about society’s views about sexual orientation.

If you are over the age of 18, and identity with a descriptor of something other than heterosexual—such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, or questioning—I would like to encourage you to take this survey! Participants have a chance to win one of two $25 iTunes gift cards!

This study should take no more than 30 minutes of your time. You will be asked questions about yourself and your feelings. Once you have completed the survey, you can choose to be entered in a drawing to win an iTunes giftcard.

This research has been approved by the Suffolk University Institutional Review Board (No. #F-144-10), an ethics committee charged with protecting the rights of the human subjects who serve as participants in research studies. This study is being conducted under the supervision of Professor David Pantalone. If you have any questions or concerns about the study, please feel free to contact me (enwoodward@suffolk.edu) or Dr. Pantalone (dpantalone@suffolk.edu) directly.

Thanks for your participation!

Eva Woodward
