Tonight my wife and I read poetry at an open mic at a local bookstore. I read three poems, my wife read several poems. Afterwards, I met a bisexual woman named Sheela. I had read her blog in the past. Small world. I shared my transgender experience with her. I read one of my poems about my transgender experience. Sheela suggested that I read one poem of my experience. I may do that. There is an LGBT community here in Washington Heights. I just moved here in late June. Gennee
