I didn't even know that Scranton HAD a Lesbian Hood! Wow...
Ditto of course on the offer to help move in and let us know when the housewarming party has a date set. I'm really happy that it's working out so well! I bet your daughter's going to be the envy of all her friends with a home near the park!

The newest update is.....
That I am in my new home, and it is definitely a home. I had several friends, including Mia, helping me on Saturday through the physical and emotional tasks of moving. Now, I am settled in, pretty much unpacked, and enjoying the peace and serenity. I am amazed at how little of that I have had in the last few months.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my beautiful, loving friends here throughout this entire process. You all helped me through some pretty trying days and nights, and I will NEVER forget that support that you gave me. I have not been able to hang around here much, although I have missed it and hope to get back consistently soon!!! My life has turned the corner and I am beginning again. My daughter loves the place and is content. All is right with the world. Peace and love to you all, my friends. Vanessa

Hiiiiiii Vanessa - I HAVE missed you! Glad to hear things are going well and you've had some peaceful moments since getting installed in your new place.

and it's a gorgeous apartment! Very, very big, too! Literally a block away from a large park.
Vanessa, as soon as you're ready there's got to be a huge housewarming party so we can all have an excuse to visit and bring little gifts!

So glad to hear you are moved in and getting settled. Haven't been around much myself, life has been busy with little computer time! It sounds like you are truly 'home' and your daughter feels the same way. I'm really happy for you both. Enjoy because you deserve it!
