I guess it is time I 'weigh in'. My husband and I have been in Fargo, ND, for almost three years now. We moved here from North Carolina. Many people ask, why would you move to North Dakota? God told us to. It is that simple. We both heard God tell us "North Dakota" when we were asking for direction in my ministry. So we saved for a year and made the move on faith. We had no jobs or housing coming up here. We were immediately welcomed into the home of a local Christian pastor and his wife. We stayed with them for almost four months while we got established. God has taken care of us in an outstanding manner all along our journey. We started a fellowship here called, "Children of the Living God". The church is celebrating 3 years of service to our community this coming June (2006). The church has had ups and downs but for now it is in an up mode. I continue to be encouraged by the positive "can do" attitude of the people in our community. We are planning the fourth annual Pride celebration here for June, including a march and a worship service in the park with blessing of the animals. (Yes! even in Fargo!) Anyway, it is good to be here. Thank you all for the warm welcome. - Pastor Jon
