So - am I right? Is it not now precisely a year since this forum was born?

(I'm pretty sure I signed up the very first day the forum went up, and my profile says I joined on Nov 1 exactly a year ago.)

I joined on 10-31-2005 and that may have been the day that it went public. I checked the member list and there are several people who joined ahead of me, but most appear to be employees of soulforce. but yeah, Zerbie! Happy Birthday to the Forums!

oh, and if you click on the memberlist then sort by number of posts, you can see who likes to talk......

Funny, Zerbie, I was just thinking about that yesterday, that we must be approaching our first birthday. Three cheers for Jamie, who's idea this forum was. At the time, I didn't comprehend how important it was. But as we grow, it's clear to me that this is an amazing thing.

Hey, you all are right, it has been one year!

This was the email that invited everyone. We're definitely doing well one year later.

With the feeling of community that had long been a component of Soulforce through fellowship with people at national actions, I counted on an online version of that succeeding. Funny thing was that most of those folks (the veterans who have been at many of the Soulforce actions) haven't ventured here yet. They weren't the ones who built this up. You were. So thanks to everyone who contributes here on a regular basis. You're the ones who are making the forums an important and exciting part of Soulforce.

And welcome to all the new members who will come on board in year 2.

Wow, a year can go by quickly... I'm glad to have this forum, it's a great place!

....and I was very surprised to see that I still hold the second spot on the top posts, seeing that I've spent hardly any time at all on the forums since school started... and I knew that I joined before Thanksgiving, but I didn't realize that it was that close...

Thank you Jamie, and all of those who got this started... and thank you to everyone here who has kept it going!
