"Take it easy on yourself... you are wonderful"

I got this on a fortune cookie awhile back and put it on my bathroom mirror. I just noticed it last night. And it gave me a truckload of "warm fuzzies," so I thought I'd pass it on.

If anyone hasn't told you yet today... you ARE wonderful.

The bible says that God delights in us... that we are the apple of His eye... Jesus tells us over and over the stories of what God's love is really like.

The prodigal son didn't feel worthy of being loved... he wasn't even sure his father would let him be a servant after how he had abused his father's love & blessings. Little did he know that his father was heartbroken that his son was gone. He stood on the edge of their fields every day, shielding his eyes from the sun and looking into the distance, hoping his son would someday return home.

That is God's love for you. Constant. Eternal. Limitless.

So, yeah... take it easy on yourself. You are wonderful. Even when you think you've messed everything up.
