New from Oklahoma

Hi all--I just found Soulforce the past few days and what a treat. I moved from Canada June last year to Oklahoma and lots of reasons for culture shock. Am currently trying to start a gay/lesbian support group at the local Unitarian Church(at suggestion of minister) so looking for all the positive information I can find. This looks like a great source. Look forward to getting to know some of you. Anna

Welcome, to Soulforce and to the US. I bet that's a huge culture shock! I'm not really acquainted with Canada, but I imagine you're dealing with a lot of difference. What part of Canada are you from? I've had brief visits to British Colombia, and once long ago to Quebec City.

Culture shock, indeed! From the sounds of some of your other posts, you are finding some resources nearby that you weren't sure were there, which is a great thing for you. Glad to have you aboard, and hope that you continue to come around often!!! Vanessa
